Another great weekend was had by all Scott Lodge!
On Saturday all 30 boys and staff (including 5 first time Munro baggers) successfully reached the summit of Dreish (947mtrs). A determined group of 12 managed to complete a second Munro – Mayar (928mtrs). This was a great walk taking in 2 of the most easterly Munros which lie just inside the Cairngorms National Park.
Sunday saw us return to the stunning Corrie Fee for “jump the river” (practiced for in the anchors and juniors). There was some differing levels of success and a great laugh was had by all!
In a change to the norm the weather was glorious and resulted in some examples of sunburn! Food was awesome throughout the weekend with some popular new additions to the menu throughout the weekend.
