Is your son going into P4-P6 and looking for new fun-filled activities to take part in? Our Junior Section has limited spaces available for the new session which begins on Friday 30th August at Falkirk High School…
AN EXCITING SESSION AHEAD!
Friday Nights
We meet every Friday at Falkirk High School. Our uniform is a blue polo-shirt and sweat-shirt. As a uniformed organisation all boys are expected to wear full uniform every week.
We have a high-quality and varied programme planned for Friday nights with a mixture of activities, games and badge work. We also have swimming booked for the last Friday of every month (starting September). Boys will be provided with a drink and snack towards the end of the night.
Our normal times will be 7pm – 8.30pm however we will run until the later time of 9pm on swimming weeks.
Battalion Competitions
We play an active part in Falkirk & District Battalion. This session boys will have the opportunity to take part in a number of competitions, including the 5-a-side football, sports night and swimming gala. More details to follow as the session progresses.
Church Services
Along with the Anchor Boys and Company Section we attend 2 Church services a year, our Enrolment Service and Closing Service. Our Enrolment Service will take place at the Peoples Church on Sunday 29thSeptember. A full turnout of boys is expected for both these important events.
Sponsored Walk
Our annual sponsored event raises vital funds to support the work of the Junior Section. We will be completing a sponsored walk in October – date tbc.
Special Events
We have a number of special events planned for the session including a Christmas party and summer trip. Further details will follow at a later date.
MEMBERSHIP COSTS
Our members pay an annual registration fee of £20 and then 8 monthly payments of £12 (this works at £3 per week which we feel offers great value for money). The cost of a Junior Section uniform is £24. We also have a range of second-hand uniform items which are available free-of-charge on a first come first serve basis to help reduce costs for parents/guardians.
