AN EXCITING SESSION AHEAD!
Friday Nights
We meet every Friday night from 6pm – 7.15pm in Falkirk High School. Our uniform is a red sweat-shirt. As a uniformed organisation all boys are expected to wear uniform every week.
We have a high-quality and varied programme planned for Friday nights with a mixture of activities, games and badge work. Boys will be provided with a drink and snack towards the end of the night
Battalion Fun Day
In January our boys will have the opportunity to take part in an Anchor Boy fun day along with boys from other companies across the area.
Church Services and Parades
Along with the Junior Section and Company Section we attend 2 Church services a year, our Enrolment Service and Closing Service. Our Enrolment Service will take place at the Peoples Church on Sunday 29thSeptember. A full turnout of boys is expected for both these important events.
Sponsored Walk
Our annual sponsored event raises vital funds to support the work of the Anchor Boys. We will be completing a sponsored walk in the autumn.
Special Events
We have a number of special events planned for the session including Halloween and Christmas parties and summer trip. Further details to follow at a later date.
MEMBERSHIP COSTS
Our members pay an annual registration fee of £20 and then 8 monthly payments of £6. The cost of an Anchor Boy uniform is £12. We also have a range of second-hand uniform items which are available free-of-charge on a first come first serve basis to help reduce costs for parents/guardians.
