In March 2026 we enjoyed our annual Scott Lodge weekend with 21 young people and 5 leaders from our Company and Seniors age groups.
On Saturday everyone successfully climbed 928m to the summit of Mayar in glorious sunshine – including 7 first time munroists! Unusually for the time of year we were able to climb in t-shirts until we reached the top plateao. In a sheltered spot at the summit we enjoyed a relaxed lunch with perfectly clear views in all directions. Some areas of snow remained near the summit meaning we enjoyed a few snowball fights on the way back down.
Back at the lodge we enjoyed our annual table tennis, dominoes, connect four and FIFA competitions while enjoying some excellent meals thanks to a donations from Campbells Prime Meat.
On Sunday following suggestions from the Seniors we swapped out the usual Corrie Fee walk for a trip to the Dundee Olympia swimming pool where a great couple of hours was had. There was very quiet couple of mini buses on the way back down the road after some late nights.
Scott Lodge is always a highlight of the 3rd Falkirk year and 2026 was no different. A special place with a special group of young people making memories to last a lifetime.
