It was a fantastic night celebrating the successes of the past year with a packed hall of boys, parents and families at our Annual Awards Evening.

A Year in Review

Before the main presentations, we enjoyed a video showcasing the incredible highlights of the session. From our regular Friday night activities, parties, and national competitions to Scotland matches and major trips to London, Scott Lodge, and the French Alps in Chamonix, the video was a perfect reminder of the sheer variety of adventures our boys have experienced this year.

2026 Section Awards

Following the video, section leaders took to the stage to present the boys with their annual yearbooks and major awards. We are incredibly proud of all the boys who received promotions to their next age groups, as well as the dedicated recipients of our major shields:

Inspiring the Next Generation

The undisputed highlight of the night was hearing from our three newest King’s Men. Aidan, Laird, and Ryan took the stage to share the story of their Boys’ Brigade journey, detailing the hard work and dedication required to earn the highest award in the organisation. Hearing them reflect on their favourite memories in 3rd Falkirk and offer advice to the younger boys perfectly demonstrated the leadership and confidence our senior programme builds.

Looking Ahead

In his closing remarks, Interim Chaplain Derek Gunn reminded us that every officer and boy is a winner, highlighting that very few BB companies offer such a wide range of opportunities at so many different levels.

The celebration continued afterward with refreshments served by our fantastic parent fundraising group. Thanks to the generosity of everyone who attended, the group raised over £400 to go towards next summer’s Seniors trip to Chamonix — ensuring the adventure continues!
