If you are looking for a fun, active and welcoming kids club in Falkirk for boys in Primary 1 to Primary 3, the Anchors at 3rd Falkirk Boys’ Brigade is the perfect place to start. We provide a high-energy, safe environment where primary 1-3 boys can burn off energy, play games, get creative and make their first great friends outside of the school gates.
The Anchors is the youngest of our age groups and the aim of our Anchors is to provide an action-packed fun introduction to life in the Boys’ Brigade. Most of our older members joined in the Anchors and have stayed for with us for 10+ years.
The Anchors has its own programme based on six areas: Get Active, Get Into the Bible, Get Creative, Get Learning, Get Adventurous and Get Involved.
The emphasis is on fun and opportunities to learn and share in new experiences. A typical Friday night includes parachute games, team games and an arts and crafts activity.
The Anchors meet every Friday night at Falkirk High School between 6.15pm and 7.15pm.
COSTS
Membership of the Anchors costs £15 per month (payable August – May).
UNIFORM
Our uniform is a blue BB polo shirt which is worn by all age groups and helps create a sense of belonging within the 3rd Falkirk family.
AWARDS
Throughout their time in the Anchors members can gain awards and recognition for their participation in the programme.
